The best performers of the session included Altium Ltd, which surged by 28.91%, Appen Ltd, which added 10.17%, and Mesoblast Ltd, which was up by 9.09% in late trade.

Conversely, the worst performers were Pro Medicus Ltd, which fell by 13.15%, Idp Education Ltd, which declined by 8.58%, and Whitehaven Coal Ltd, which was down by 5.86%.

Market Statistics

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Sydney Stock Exchange, with 620 gaining, 561 declining, and 333 remaining unchanged. Altium Ltd traded at all-time highs, climbing by 28.91%.
