The standout performers of the day on the NSE included Coal India Ltd, which soared by 3.58%, Bharat Petroleum Corp. Ltd., which added 3.37%, and ITC Ltd. The worst performers were HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd, Cipla Ltd., and Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.

Highlights of BSE Sensex 30

Among the top performers on the BSE Sensex 30 were ITC Ltd, Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd., and Bharti Airtel Ltd. On the flip side, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd., HDFC Bank Ltd, and Larsen & Toubro Ltd faced losses.

Market Activity and Commodities

Stocks on the India National Stock Exchange and the Bombay Stock Exchange showed mixed trends. The VIX, indicating Nifty 50 options’ volatility, decreased by 2.18%. In commodities trading, Gold Futures rose, while Crude oil and Brent oil prices also saw an uptick.

Foreign Exchange and Dollar Index

USD/INR experienced a slight decrease, while EUR/INR witnessed a small rise. The US Dollar Index Futures declined marginally during the trading session.
