Rheinmetall signed a memorandum of understanding at the Munich Security Conference to establish the new factory. The company aims to build and operate the facility in collaboration with its Ukrainian partner, with a focus on producing 155mm calibre bullets.

The new factory in Ukraine will be a joint venture, with Rheinmetall holding a 51% stake in the company, while the remaining 49% will be owned by the Ukrainian partner. This partnership reflects the commitment of both parties to support Ukraine’s defence capabilities.
